= multi-core processor; = multicore CPU; = multicore IIпроцессор, имеющий на одном кристалле или в одном корпусе два, четыре, восемь и более процессорных ядра, обеспечивающих параллельное исполнение многих программных потоков. В большинстве случаев ядра имеют собственную кэш-память первого уровня (L1 cache), но совместно используют кэш второго уровня (L2 cache), подсистему памяти (memory subsystem) и подсистему прерываний (interrupt subsystem).
